Dont forget about our little princess!

So we all realize the importance of being an active father in our children's lives. For us dads that have boys and girls, sometimes as men, we fathers have a tendency to relate a little better with our sons and inadvertently spend more time with them over our daughters. But this doesn't need to be the case, nor should it. We need to have just as a close bond with our baby girls as we do with our boys, it just may take a different approach on our parts. Creating those life long moments for our kids is a must, and if it means you need to spend the time finding out the best way to connect with your sons & daughters, then by all means, make it happen, you'll reap the rewards for a lifetime.

Connecting with my son is extremely easy for me and very rewarding. We both have similar interests so when we're doing a project or event that is important to him, it's just as equally fun for me. As for  my daughter, that took a little bit more work. I had to figure out what's important to her, and to make it a priority for me to have the same interests. Spending 20 minutes with her, painting her finger & toe nails means everything to her, so in that respect, it means everything to me. It gives me one on one time with her, she's happy, and Im creating a moment and bond with her that will last forever.

Take the time to know your children individually and cherish their differences. I never knew I would become such a great nail painter :)
